  1. Although Popular Party replies to critics that this bill was in their electoral campaign, the truth is that if it is finally passed in parliament as expected, we will be stepping back more than 30 years in terms of women health rights. Eventually, our Goverment have taken off their mask and have shown their deepest religious dependency, being Spain a supposed lay country tough.
Unwanted pregnancies in most cases come to a hard life for the newborn, sometimes because there´s an unhappy family waiting for him or her, a family that didn´t want to have a child for different understandable reasons. In other situations fetal deformations could create a hell for the baby and also for the family for life, it is not necessary to show examples for this.
This last situation in my opinion should have been included in the cases which terminations had to be allowed and supported by social security, giving families the opportunity to decide.
We can´t go against the general thought about abortion, and what´s more, we cannot create problems where there aren´t.
